Florida Recent Arrests is privately operated and is not affiliated with any government body, sheriff, jail, or corrections department. It is a reference to official arrest-record and booking-photo sources, not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provide credit, employment, insurance, tenant-screening, or other FCRA-covered services.

Florida Reference Service

This is a private information service, not a government record system. It does not keep official arrest files and cannot confirm who is in custody, release a person, or file a request or court paper for you.

The site links readers to Florida county booking sources, public-records information, and outside search providers. A link does not make a third-party result an official statement or change which office controls the record.

Acceptable Use

Visitors must use the reference material and tools in a lawful and respectful way. These limits apply:

  • Use the site in a lawful way.
  • Do not use its information to stalk, threaten, or harass someone.
  • Do not use site content to make an FCRA-covered eligibility decision.
  • Do not try to gain access to a system without authorization.
  • Do not run automated scrapers or bots against the site.
  • Do not interfere with access or service for other visitors.

FCRA Use Is Prohibited

Florida Recent Arrests is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide consumer reports or screening services, and you agree not to use information from this site or an ad partner for a purpose covered by that law, including:

  • Employment decisions, including hiring or firing.
  • Housing or tenant-screening decisions.
  • Credit eligibility or insurance pricing.
  • Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government program.
  • Any other decision regulated by the FCRA.

External Resources

Links may open county jail rosters, sheriff and corrections pages, court or government portals, county sites, news outlets, or private search services. Florida Recent Arrests does not control or endorse their content, privacy practices, fees, or availability. Read each destination’s terms before using it.

Service Without Warranty

The site and its information are provided “as is.” No promise is made that they will be:

  • Accurate, complete, or up to date.
  • Available without interruption.
  • Free of errors or security flaws.
  • Matched to every result returned by an outside search partner.

Custody status and public records can change. Nothing here is an official statement from a Florida sheriff, court, jail, or government agency.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site’s owners and providers are not liable for damages arising from your access to or use of the service, including reliance on a changing government or partner record.

Your Responsibility

You agree to defend and hold harmless the site’s owners and providers from claims, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your use of the service or a breach of these terms.

Ownership of Content

Text, graphics, logos, and code are owned by Florida Recent Arrests or its content partners. Do not copy, distribute, or alter protected material without written permission, except where the law permits it.

Changes to Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when posted here, and later use of the service means you accept the revision.

Access Restrictions

Access may be limited or ended at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Florida Law

Florida law governs these terms, without regard to its choice-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court located in Florida.

Severability

If a court finds one part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. The affected term will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
